OUR STORY

We are a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to the health and well-being of neglected, abandoned, or unwanted tortoises and box turtles. We opened our home to our first tortoise, Sushi, in 2015. By 2019 our home had turned into a rescue/sanctuary for numerous tortoises and box turtles. Each tortoise and box turtle has a unique background and story.  We provide a forever home for many of these amazing animals. However we also recognize we cannot keep each rescue that comes into our care. So occasionally we will adopt individuals out to loving and caring homes that are prepared for the long term commitment these animals require.
